SOUTH Bromsgrove High School’s annual art competition ‘Eisteddfod’ is now in its 25th year.
It’s a major event in the school’s calendar and is supported by the extensive involvement of students across all disciplines and age groups.
During this Autumn term the competition preparation has been running in a socially distanced way, with the immediate focus being on poetry and art elements.
School leaders have been delighted with high quality entries and excellent levels of engagement.
Judges commended the originality and imagination of the winning entries.
The school’s Eisteddfod coordinator, Chris Sugars, said, “It has been remarkable to see the quality of submissions this year particularly considering the challenges that we have overcome to put on this extracurricular event.
“It demonstrates all that the school are doing to try and maintain the wider school experience for students, whilst keeping them safe.”
