POLICE found a lorry driver to be three times over the drink-drive limit when they pulled him over on the motorway.
Officers had received reports of a heavy good vehicle on the M42/M5 interchange section which had been swerving between lanes and hitting traffic cones.
When the team from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit stopped the lorry which had a 20-tonne load on board, they breathalysed the driver.
He blew 109mg per 100ml of breath – the legal limit is 35.
