BROMSGROVE District Council is asking for residents’ help in identifying and supporting rough sleepers as temperatures plummet.
The council is urging anyone who sees a rough sleeper to notify the Streetlink Service, who will use the information to help those in need.
Overnight tonight (Wednesday, January 17) temperatures are expected to drop as low as -4 degrees celcius in Bromsgrove.
Under the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP), shelters are opened for those in need at crucial times.
Residents have been advised to contact emergency services if someone has collapsed.
