RESIDENTS from Bromsgrove’s St John’s Court nursing home enjoyed sun, sea and glorious sunshine when they went on their annual day-trip to Weston-Super-Mare, writes Shannon Alcock.
Everyone, including the staff, enjoyed a stroll down the prom and a traditional fish and chip supper.
The weather could not have been better, providing the perfect excuse for an ice cream.
Laura Wilkes, the care home’s manager said: “The team of St John’s who supported the ladies and gentlemen out on the trip were fantastic, as were the team who helped to get us on our way and those who kept the home ticking over who were there to welcome us back.”
She added their hard work had made a big difference to the residents’ lives and new and happy memories for them.
