Students urged to get creative as new arts diploma is launched at North Bromsgrove High School

ARTISTS at North Bromsgrove High School and Sixth-Form will now be able to showcase their talents through a brand new course.

The Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Art and Design Practice will enable them to develop their artistic sides from September this year.

The Creative Arts Faculty has enjoyed great success at both GCSE and A level consistently and have worked hard to build their course portfolio.

There have been great successes over the last two years with students entered and hung at the Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer Show.

The faculty offers fine art and photography A-levels and will introduce the new Arts Diploma, which is equivalent to 3 A levels.

Arts lead, Grace Flello said: “We’re excited to be able to have staffing expertise to grow our art and design courses this year.

“We have so many talented students and really wanted to develop creative skills and support the arts, which is so vital to education today.”
