STUDENTS across Bromsgrove have been celebrating their GCSE results which came out this morning.
North Bromsgrove High School
Among the top achievers were Holly Easden, Grace Brotherton, Eva Jarvis, Oliver White and Ruby Hyde who – across their grades – were awarded the prestigious grade 9.
Esmae Rowan, Lydia Davies and Deborah Jenkins were among the top 10 per cent in the country with their results.
Headteacher Nick Gibson said: “We are pleased for our students who have achieved another good set of GCSE results.
“Our students and staff should feel very proud, and we jointly celebrate their success which will enable our students to pursue their next steps and aspirations.
“Virtually all achieved results to gain places to pursue their post-16 studies or work-based training.
“We celebrate the success of all our students equally and all of their achievements should never be underestimated.”

Deputy headteacher Anna Ingram added “The results reflect the high expectations we have of our students, the high quality of teaching delivered by our staff, the support and leadership of the governing body and, last but certainly not least, the endeavours of our fantastic students.
“These results complement our sixth form A level results which were released last week.
“It is a privilege to work with our talented staff, and it is with a deep sense of commitment that we will continue to nurture the talents and abilities of our students across our North family.”
North Bromsgrove High School sixth form is still open for enquiries from year 11 students and external students still unsure of their next academic step.
