POLICE used a stinger last night to stop a car believed to have been believed in burglaries in Bromsgrove.

It happened at 9.10pm on the Stourbridge Road, at the junction of Hinton Fields.

Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit said the stinger and a TPAC – where the car was boxed in – enabled them to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.

Bromsgrove Police officers also assisted with the stop.

Three people in the car were arrested and taken into custody.
