BROMSGROVE stroke survivor Jo Vincent will showcase is showcasing her art in the town until the end of the month, writes Amy Rose Willis.
Jo faced life-changing devastation after suffering two strokes at the age of 26 after contracting the heart infection endocarditis.
Jo had to relearn all the basic, daily skills most people take for granted and during her rehabilitation, in between her speech, social and physio therapy, she began painting.
Since developing her creative skill she has started her own website and sold her paintings online and now has an exhibition at Bromsgrove Library until June 29.
All the pieces, which include vibrant, abstract sea and landscapes, are available to buy.
Anyone wanting to find out more should go along to the library during its opening times, follow her on Instagram at jo.vincent.art or at Jo’s Facebook page.
