Stars brave the weather to take to the stage at Austin Sports and Social Club's Search for a Star

THE PERFORMERS in the latest heat of Austin Sports and Social Club’s Search for a Star braved the rain and flooding to take to the stage on Saturday.

Comedian The Man they call G who made it through travelled all the way from Great Yarmouth while others journeyed from Norwich and Hereford.

He was joined by Beth Rabone and Andy Lee.

The comedian performed Always on My Mind, Crocodile Rock and With a Little Help From My Friends with plenty of jokes in between, Beth Rabone sang a mixture of upbeat songs and Andy Lee sang Cry Me a River, Fever, Copacabana and This is the Moment.




It was a close call between the top four with The Dancing Grannies narrowly missing out, despite wowing the crowd and judges.

Admission for Saturday’s penultimate heat is £4, available on the door.
