THE ARMISTICE centenary feature pages in last week’s Standard raised £190 for the Bromsgrove Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Businesses and other organisations placed adverts to show their support for the annual fund-raising drive and to boost the cause’s coffers.
Editor Tristan Harris said: “There were some amazing commemorations held over the weekend and we’d like to thank all of the companies which got involved in our annual feature.
“It was great to see so many helping us make our special Armistice centenary edition so special.”
