LONG-TIME campaigner Stan Francis will stand in the upcoming Worcestershire County Council elections for the Reform UK (formerly the Brexit Party).

The Romsley resident is now retried but worked in NHS as a manager and has previously been a parish councillor and special constable.

Mr Francis, who will be vying for the Clent division seat, has helped retain his village’s local bus service and assisted with getting children’s amenities replaced.

He continues to lobby to bring about improvements to footpaths and roads.

He said: “We have to get our roads in better condition, hundreds of motorists’ cars are dropping into potholes and it’s causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.”

He added he wanted to truly represent residents living in the division and wanted people to get in touch with any issues or concerns they have about the local area.
