A CELEBRATION of Song and Dance will take place at Bromsgrove School’s Cobham Theatre at 6.30pm this Sunday, October 17, writes Holly Martin.
‘Curtain Call’ will be the first performance by members of Stage Door Dance Academy since the start of the pandemic.
The show will feature a diverse range of styles including jazz, contemporary, classical, musical theatre and tap and acrobatics.
The Stoke Prior academy was established in 1994 and provides a platform for all to explore and develop in the world of dance and the performing arts.
Martina Ponsonby, the academy’s principal, said: “The students have shown resilience and commitment during what has been a time of great uncertainty all over the world.”
She added the show would give the students the opportunity to shine but more importantly, to ‘bring some normality into people’s lives’.
Doors will open at 6pm.
