STAFF from Bromsgrove Fostering Agency Children Always First took part in a WOLF run, raising more than £600 for The North Worcestershire Basement Project.

The ‘Wolfpack’ travelled to Offchurch, Warwickshire to participate in the unique 10km run that saw them claw their way across 25 obstacles, through mud and take on trail runs.

The team also had to endure swimming through mud, climbing over hay bales and crawling through dark, damp tunnels.

The North Worcestershire Basement Project supports young people aged up to 25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

The main aim of the charity is to assist young people with the issues they face, helping them to find and maintain a home independently.

It provides a drop-in service to young people as well as providing a support worker to visit them at home if necessary.

A spokesperson for Children Always First said: “Besides the day being a great deal of fun, the staff were really pleased they could give back to the local community.

“Its part of our commitment to connect with and support like-minded organisations and raising money for a worthwhile cause like The Basement Project.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to every single person who donated, cheered the team on and supported such an amazing cause.”
