St John Ambulance seeking volunteers and youth leaders for Bromsgrove and Droitwich

Bromsgrove Editorial 26th May, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016

A DRIVE for new recruits has been launched by St John Ambulance in Bromsgrove and Droitwich.

The organisation is looking for 70 volunteers to train as event first aiders and youth leaders.

It provides first aid services at hundreds of events in Hereford and Worcestershire every year – from school fetes and small community events to big attendance events.

The training is free and in return the volunteers will be required to commit 10 hours per month to attend events and put their skills to the test.

The charity also has a number of vacancies for volunteers at its youth groups to train the region’s next generation of life-savers.

St John Ambulance requires youth leaders to help runs its Cadet and Badger units.

Visit www.sja.org.uk/volunteering for more information.

Anyone who has any questions can also contact the regional volunteering team by sending an e-mail to west-mids-volunteering@sja.org.uk or by calling 0121 236 6660.
