A SPECIAL event will be held at Stoke Prior Sports and Social Club at 7.30pm next Thursday, April 19, to bid a fond farewell to Kipper Kendal who is moving to Devon with his wife Sue to start a new life.

Kipper has been ‘instrumental’ in keeping live music in the area foe more than 50 years, raising thousands of pounds for local charities.

Everyone who knows Kipper, including his friends, family and other musicians are welcome to the event.

Admission is free but there will be a collection which will be donated to the charity of Kipper’s choice.

John Ellis said: “Let’s all get together to give Kipper a good send off.”

Call John on 07504 127668 for more information.
