South Bromsgrove teaching trio to take on various charity challenges

Bromsgrove Editorial 26th Apr, 2018   0

A TRIO of South Bromsgrove High School teachers are going above and beyond for charity, writes Catherine Reston.

Deputy headteacher Ian Medlicott is taking on various cycling events in memory of colleague and friend David Fletcher, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in the future.

Notably will be The Two Ton Tour in July which covers 200miles over two days and includes 20,000ft of climbing over the Cambrian Mountains.

Business studies teacher Claire Wilkin-Mead and assistant headteacher Hannah Talbot have both taken part in their first London Marathon, with Hannah raising funds for Children with Cancer.

Claire ran the marathon to raise money for MS and to support her father who was diagnosed three years ago.
