BROMSGROVE’S Daily Bread Yoga is holding two events in the next week.
The 45-minute Crystal singing bowl Sound Bath Workshop – billed as a ‘restorative and therapeutic sound experience’ takes place on Sunday, October 17 from 4.30pm to 6pm. The session is £25.
Hosted by Amber D’Aniello who works with a method known as the BAST method of sound therapy, developed over 25 years and aims to help you relax deeply.
After settling the group she will start by playing Himalayan singing bowls, followed by the ethereal sound of the crystal singing bowls.
Amber will finish with therapeutic percussion sequence in which she plays rain sticks and shakers which get progressively stronger and gradually louder ending in silence. Participants then slowly come out of the meditation.
Between 1.30pm and 5.30pm next Saturday, October 23, a Mindfulness Meditation Workshop will be held. It is aimed at helping people learn meditation techniques for ‘living in balance with compassion and heartfulness.
This introduction to mindfulness with Heartful Helen provides the perfect mix of mindful movement, reading, yin yoga, guided seated meditation and a full body scan relaxation to finish.
It is designed to enable participants to introduce a little more awareness to help them navigate through all the busyness.
It inspires people to understand to the difference between urgent and important things.
