Small businesses in Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham can apply for £5,000 grants as part of new scheme launched today

SMALL businesses in Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham can apply for a grant of £5,000, as part of a new scheme being launched in central England today.

The new Small Business Grants programme is part of a partnership between Salesforce and small business support network Enterprise Nation.

Applications will be accepted until midnight on Sunday, June 7.

To be eligible, firms must be registered at Companies House, have been established for at least 12 months and not have received any other cash grants in 2020 relating to Covid-19 payments.




They must also be based in the UK with a British bank account and have between two and 50 employees.

Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, said: “Taking on debt is not an option for every business, especially now. This grant will open-up opportunities firms might otherwise not be able to afford, such as accessing support to help them pivot, learning how to access customers in new ways and increase skills.

“We’re seeing a growing appetite for businesses to up their digital game as well as adapt to the new ways of working that are emerging.”
