FIRMS across Bromsgrove and the villages are now able to submit their nominations for the towns small business awards.
The awards, run by Bromsgrove MP Bradley Thomas, will look to celebrate the contribution small businesses make to the local economy.
Returning for a second year, the contest will see Bromsgrovians vote for their favourite firm on the build up to small business Saturday, which is on December 6.
Last year, Casa Med, a a family-run Mediterranean tapas restaurant in Bromsgrove town centre, and JJ’s Café, an independently owned café in Hollywood, were revealed as joint winners.

SJP Theatre Arts, a Bromsgrove theatre school, secured the runner-up spot and Bremi’s, an independent coffee shop and bar in Aston Fields, clinched third place.
In total, 1,992 votes were cast by local residents in last year’s inaugural awards.
Mr Thomas said: “After the huge success of my inaugural Small Business Awards, I’m thrilled to announce that they’re back for another year.
“It’s another opportunity to champion our small businesses at what remains a challenging time. Small businesses aren’t just the backbone of our economy, they’re also at the heart of their communities.
“I’m once again encouraging small businesses across Bromsgrove and the Villages to put themselves forward for the public vote to be in with a chance of winning a Small Business Award.
“I’m looking forward to receiving your nominations and to celebrating our small businesses.”
Small businesses will have until Thursday, October 30, to put themselves forward for the public vote, after which residents will be able to vote for their favourite firm.
