Sharp shooters have fun in Hanbury raising £795 for the Primrose Hospice

Bromsgrove Editorial 7th Jul, 2019   0

SHARP shooters were on target to raise almost £800 for the Primrose Hospice during a charity outdoor pursuits day in Hanbury, writes Alice Green.

The event attracted 50 people who tried their hand at archery, laser clay shooting, axe throwing and undertook an outdoor laser tag battle in the forest.

Rates were reduced for the activities with all the proceeds going to the hospice.

Mark Treverton who runs Shooting 4 Fun at Oaklands Outdoor Pursuits organised the event and local organisations, including Aztec Adventure, Droitwich Lido, Hogarth’s Stone Manor and Morrisons, all donated prizes for a raffle to boost the coffers.

Feedback from the day was overwhelmingly positive and Amy Fleming from the Primrose Hospice said the £795 raised was a ‘wonderful’ amount.
