Severn Trent apologies for delays caused by temporary traffic lights on main Bromsgrove route

Bromsgrove Editorial 5th Feb, 2020   0

SEVERN Trent has apologised to drivers and residents over delays on the Birmingham Road, near Burcot Lane and All Saints Church caused by two-way temporary traffic lights.

The water provider has had to put the signals in place while it carries out essential upgrades in the area.

The traffic lights are aimed at keeping engineers working on the scheme and other users in place.

One driver who contacted The Standard said: “It was absolute pandemonium this morning – it took ages to get through them.”

A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “We’re working hard to get everything done as quickly as possible, so the disruption is kept to an absolute minimum.”
