Seven people injured after bus and car crash in Longbridge

SEVERAL people were taken to hospital following a crash involving a bus and a car in Longbridge.

The incident happened around 3pm on Sunday at the junction of Tessall Lane and Bristol Road South.

Three ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

From the bus, two men were treated for injuries not thought to be serious before being taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

A woman and a girl were treated for minor injuries, before being taken to Sandwell and Birmingham Children’s Hospital respectively..

A further three patients, all male, were assessed and discharged at the scene.




The driver of the car was assessed for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.

West Midlands Police also confirmed they attended the incident.
