Send us your pictures of 'Autumn in Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham'

AS OCTOBER gets into full swing and we head towards half-term, Halloween and bonfire night, the weather is clearly turning.

The leaves are turning beautiful browns, golds, reds and yellow and morning mists are starting to materialise.

And, rather than mourn the death or end of summer, there are plenty of things to look forward to at this time of year – the warm casseroles and comfort foods, digging out your woolly jumpers, going out for walks and kicking through the autumn leaves.

Bromsgrove, Rubery and south Birmingham have some wonderfully aesthetically pleasing places at all times of year – whether it be Sanders Park, the Lickey Hills  or Waseleys  or some of the other countryside areas.

In celebration of the turning of the seasons, we want you to send us the autumn pictures you take while you are out and about or even pictures of your autumnal cooking creations, such as casseroles or hearty soups.

Include your name and where it was taken and we will put together a picture special.

Email them to [email protected] or post them on the Facebook post for this article and let’s share the beauty of our areas in autumn.
