Schools closed or partially shut in Bromsgrove district because of NEU strike action

PARENTS are being advised to know which schools are closed or partially closed tomorrow due to industrial action by members of the National Education Union (NEU).

Teachers across the county will be among those striking which will have an impact on schools across Bromsgrove district.

Members of the union are taking action over pay and working conditions.

Talks were held today with Government representatives but, as no agreement was reached, tomorrow’s action will go ahead.




Full school closures

Catshill First and Middle School – Due to NEU Strike Action, the school will be closed except for students who are CLA, CP, CIN or EHCP. Individual invites will be made to these students. FSM will be available for collection.

Parkside Middle School

 

Partial school closures

Haybridge High School and Sixth Form, Hagley – Year seven and 11 will be in school, Year eight, nine and 10 will be at home and have remote work set on Edulink, Year 12 and 13 will be invited to use the study facilities.

Lickey Hills Primary School, Rubery – Due to NEU strike action school the school is open for pupils in Year one, Year two, both Language Base classes, all pupils with EHCP and invited vulnerable pupils.
