READY Steady Worcestershire will be holding a Safety Day Event on Wednesday, August 4 at Blackwell Adventure Park.
The Safety Day is part of Ready Steady Worcestershire’s Summer Holiday Activity and Food Programme and will run between 9.30am and 4pm.
Around 100 children who are either in receipt of free school meals or from vulnerable families will be at the event.
Participants will undertake a variety of outdoor activities such as a junior tree trek, archery, an outdoor climb and laser tag.
And there will be several interactive displays from the likes of Platform Rail, which will be explaining the importance of staying safe near a railway.
Western Power Distribution will give a talk on how dangerous electricity can be while Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service will explain how to deal with fires safely.
West Mercia Police, GET SAFE and SARA water rescue are among the other organisations attending the event.
