RUNNERS are being urged to get their applications in for this year’s Bloodwise Bromsgrove Fun Run.
This year’s will be the organisation’s 30th anniversary event and follows on from the charity smashing its £1million fund-raising target in October last year.
The fun run, which starts at 11am on May 12, offers participants the chance to take on either a 5k or 10k course, both starting at Bromsgrove Rugby Club.
There is a limit of 500 places available and children have to be 16 or over to attempt the 10k.
Standard entry is £14 or £13 for Athletic Association affiliated runners.
Each entrant receives a fund-raising pack, race number and information and a finisher’s medal. There are also prizes for those finishing in the top three in both the male and female categories and prizes for the veterans.
Runners who collect more than £25 prior to the event will also get a running T-shirt on the day.
