VOLUNTEERS from Rubery and the surrounding area and people who do good deeds are being sought for a special event taking place next month.

The Volunteers Celebration Night will be held at the Rubery Social Club at 8pm on November 23.

The event, funded by Bromsgrove District Council, will feature entertainment by top artists Becky Neale, Chloe Barry, Stephan Law and David Edkins.

Organiser Tony Maslen said: “We want to hear about volunteers, whether they work in the local charity shop, help out at their local school, church or scout group or whether they get shopping for their neighbours.”

The event is ticket only.

Any volunteers or anyone who knows someone who they feel worthy of a place should e-mail Tony Maslen at [email protected] or call him on 0121 457 9308 or 07505 174044.
