Rubery Festival returns this weekend

THE RUBERY Festival returns this Sunday, September 3, with plenty of fun for all the family.

The event starts with a parade from the top of New Road, down to the arena in St Chad’s Park where the festival will be officially opened by Bromsgrove District Council Chairman, Coun Sam Ammar.

Jasmine Nicholson will get the entertainment under way before Excels Dance Academy take centre stage.

Next up will be the Singing Princesses and there will be other performances throughout the afternoon by Lady and the Sax, Ellie Hooper Zumba, Zak Dienn, Gemma Ronan Zumba, Shaza TJ, Michelle Black and the Mini Movers Dance School.

As well as the live entertainment, there will also be food stalls, fresh cakes, ice cream, a charity tabletop sale, bouncy castle, face painting, pony rides, quad bikes and vintage cars.
