THE RUBERY-based Grazia Academy of Dance and Acrobatics Arts has made it through to represent England at the finals of the Dance World Cup 2023 for the third year running.

The team successfully made it through to the worldwide competition, which will take place in Braga, Portugal, later this year after a successful audition.

In 2021, Grazia’s members won gold for their Large Acro troupe and were invited to perform at the Dance World Cup Gala, and came runner up at the 2022 competition for their Small Acro troupe routine.

This year, Grazia has qualified for Children’s and Juniors Small and Large acro troupes, as well as a Junior Acro Soloist to represent England.

The dancers range from seven to 16 and all live in Rubery or the surrounding areas.

Grazia are currently fund-raising for their trip and have started to look for sponsors or donations from businesses to help with the costs associated with representing England at the Dance World Cup.
