A COLLECTION by members of the Rotary Club of Lickey Hills at Morrisons in Bromsgrove raised £280 to support efforts in Ukraine and at local hospices – St Mary’s, Primrose, St Richard’s and Acorns.
It was the first time a collection was able to be held in two years.
Club president, Jonathan Wilding, said: “After a long time when we couldn’t do this because of the pandemic it’s been great to get back to shaking our buckets.
“We all really enjoy chatting to the customers and they always respond positively to the chance to give to good causes.”
The group’s next collection will be at Morrisons in Rubery on Thursday, April 21.
