THE POPULAR Romstock Festival returns this Saturday for the first time in two years and – with it being the event’s 10th anniversary – it is set to be bigger and better than ever.
Organisers say all the bands playing are good enough to be ‘headline acts’ and have urged people to get their camping chairs and picnic blankets and come and join the party.
Among the acts performing are Ange and David DRC, Bhangra Smash-Up, Strictly Abba, Colin Halls Gypsy Blood, The Killerstream Weekend Anthems Band, Paul Shakespeare as Elvis, The Skastuds, Dan Budd tribute to Robbie Williams and Supernova.
The event – organised by Romsley Parish Council with food from Social Eats – runs from 12pm to 9pm in the Romsley Playing Fields.
Tickets – at £20 for adults and £5 for children – are available on the day although people can book online at to avoid queuing.
Alcoholic drinks must be bought on-site.
