BROMSGROVE Folk Club will play host to John Ward and his Trio who will take to the stage at Catshill Club at 7.30pm on Thursday, May 26.
The band are back playing after the pandemic restrictions and on their way around the UK.
During the last 30 years, John has released eight albums and supported high profile acts, including Dick Gaughan, Bull Wyman, Vin Garbutt, Dave Swarbrick and The Strawbs.
He has also released a book of poetry – Iron Bridge – and set up the not-for-profit Broad Roots to promote folk and roots music in Suffolk.
He is currently working on two new CDs and another book which is due to be released later this year.
Tickets for Thursday’s gig are £7 for members, £9 for visitors and £3.50 for under 25s.
