REMEMBRANCE - Two services and a parade as Catshill pays tribute to war dead

THIS YEAR’S Catshill Remembrance Sunday event began with a service at the club before the parade to the War Memorial on the junction of Meadow Road and Stourbridge Road.

Marching in the parade were the Drum Corp from the 2nd Bromsgrove Boys’ Brigade Company, along with Anchors, Juniors, Conpany and Senior sections. scouts, beavers, cubs, brownies and representatives from the Armed Forces, Bromsgrove District Council and Worcestershire County Council.

A shorter service was held at the memorial with the bugler Paul Hatton playing The Last Post and the Reveille either side of a well-observed two-minute silence before the laying of wreaths.




Aroud 500 people attended the event.
