REDNAL Hill Junior School’s Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PFTA) has launched an appeal for help with its new community garden.
A plea has been made for volunteers to come forward and help with the project.
No experience of gardening is needed but would be a welcome advantage.
Rednal Hill’s headteacher has a vision of the site being used to grow fruit and vegetables which will then either be used in the school’s kitchens or sold at cost to families.
Key children who would benefit from the outdoor experience would be involved in the project.
Anyone who could spend a couple of hours to help dig, plant and sow should send a personal message (PM) to the Rednal Hill Ptfa Facebook page for more information.
