BOOKWORMS can enjoy a special event at Bromsgrove’s All Saints Church in Burcot Lane from 10.30am to 12pm on May 18.
The Books Galore event is for anyone who wants to browse and buy books from the church’s second-hand collection or take time out of their day to have a read.
Visitors can also browse a range of the day’s newspapers or have a chat over a coffee and a slice of cake.
Books Galore is the first of a number of events to mark the church’s 150th anniversary since its inauguration in 1874.
Others will include a series of concerts, a quiz, a beetle drive on July 5, a family fun day on July 20 and an exhibition to mark the anniversary.
Team Rector, Rev David Ford said: “The All Saints church community is really excited to be celebrating this landmark occasion and we look forward to welcoming residents from across Bromsgrove and further afield to join us.”
