THE DATES of this year’s Bromsgrove Carnival have been annnounced.
The event will kick off with the outdoor cinema in Sanders Park on Friday, July 10, with the traditional carnival on Saturday, July 11.
That will feature the annual parade from Artrix, along School Drive and Birmingham Road, onto Kidderminster Road and up to Sanders Park where there will be the carnival arena.
In the arena will be a host of stalls run by community groups and charities, along with live music stage and numerous performances and a funfair.
The Bromsgrove Carnival Committee has issued a rallying call for people to help with the organisation and marshalling of the carnival.
Making the announcement, the Bromsgrove Carnival Chairman and event director, Adam Lote, made an impassioned plea for people to get involved, citing the fact other carnivals in the county had been cancelled, including Worcester and Wolverley because of a lack of support.
He added Bromsgrove Carnival brought communities together and that community spirit – in 2026 – was needed more than ever. The organisers also want to make the event bigger and better than ever this year.
And, previously, the committee has urged businesses which can help with sponsorship to get in touch.
“We aren’t just looking for a handout; we’re looking for partners.
“Whether it’s direct sponsorship or providing essential infrastructure (transport, equipment, printing, or logistics), your support is what will make 2026 possible.”
Those supporting the event can get massive brand exposure – their logo in front of Bromsgrove’s biggest crowd.
“They can also get ‘Community Hero Status’ – show your customers that you truly care about the local area.
“And there will be plenty of social media love – we’ll be shouting about our partners to our thousands of followers.”
He also cited the ‘feelgood factor’ and the reason children (and families and adults) get their Bromsgrove Carnival Day.

Adam added: “Let’s show everyone what Bromsgrove businesses can do when they pull together.”
