Rail users on the Cross City Line warned to check the new autumn timetable starting tomorrow

Bromsgrove Editorial 14th Oct, 2018 Updated: 14th Oct, 2018   0

RAIL USERS are being warned to check their train times tomorrow as a the special autumn timetable starts.

It runs for the next seven weeks and finishes on December 7.

The autumn timetable is brought in because the leaves on the line and wet conditions make stopping safely more difficult for drivers and accelerating smoothly.

This can lead to delays, particularly on the Cross City Line between Birmingham New Street, Bromsgrove and Redditch.

Among the stations affected by the changes are Northfield and Barnt Green.

Some trains going both too Birmingham and Bromsgrove and Redditch will not stop at the two stations.

Some times of services may also be different.
