RESIDENTS are being urged to sign up to forthcoming events organised to raise funds for Bromsgrove’s Blood Cancer UK branch.
It will be a busy couple of months for Nicole Harris from the charity.
The first event on March 21 is a quiz night at Avoncroft Arts Centre. Admission is £28 for a team of four and people are urged to take along their own drinks and food.
Then, on March 29, there will be the Walk of Lights at Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham. Participants can choose to walk either 2.5km or 5km to raise funds for the cause.
And the Bromsgrove Fun Run takes place on May 11 at the town’s Rugby Club. Runners can choose between a 5k or 10k course.
Nicole said: “We have loads going on to suit all tastes and we’d love to see as many people as possible come to each of these events.
“They are guaranteed to be lots of fun and will hopefully raise plenty of funds for the cause.”
