PUPILS from Beaconside Primary School put their dancing shoes on for a sponsored event.
The Danceathon, organised by teachers Suzanne Williams and Beth Turner, saw everyone take part.
The day kicked off with a five-minute dance from the nursery children before the ‘talent baton’ was passed onto reception until they reached all the way to year six who ended the event with a 20-minute session.
Headteacher Lorraine Hadley said: “This event was a great opportunity to be active, have fun and raise funds for enrichment activities for the pupils.
“The funds collected will go towards activities for the pupils.
