FANS of the nation’s favourite sitcom Only Fools and Horses will be in for a ‘cushty’ evening on Friday, May 8, when a virtual quiz themed on the show takes place.
The event, which starts at 7.30pm, is being run by Bromsgrove entrepreneur Laura Jones from UK Eventures.
Laura used to deliver quizzes, themed afternoon teas, celebrity Q&A evenings and outdoor cinema events for corporate, non-profit and social organisations but had to stop when the Government’s Covid-19 lockdown came in.
She started, instead running online quizzes and her first one – on hit American sitcom Friends raised around £95,000 for the NHS Charities Together.
Since then with other quizzes including Harry Potter, Disney, Gavin and Stacey and a second trip to Central Perk, the total has been going up and is now at £129,880.
Players are urged to make a small donation to the NHS charity in return for the entertainment.
