Primrose Hospice seeks new trustees for its board

Bromsgrove Editorial 2nd Dec, 2023   0

AN APPEAL has been launched to find volunteers to join the Primrose Hospice’s board of trustees, writes Caitlin Valle.

The charity is particularly interested in applications from people who will add to the board’s collective professional and personal life experiences and diversity of people and community it serves.

This, Primrose says, will help better support people and deliver the right services.

The positions also enable people to make a real difference to their community as the collective decisions made by the trustees board will help shape the sustainability and future of Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

The chair of the board, Rod Laight, said: “It is very rewarding to work with the wonderful team at Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

“As a trustee it’s a privilege to be part of this great organisation and have a say in how it’s run and develops.

“For me, it’s about giving back to a wonderful charity that has supported many people I have known over the years.”

The positions are voluntary, but travel expenses will be paid. Visit the website at primrosehospice.org/news/new-trustee-opportunities/ for more information on the roles and how to apply.

Alternatively, email Primrose Hospice chief executive officer David Burrell at [email protected] or call him on 01527 871051.
