A HOLLYWOOD man has been jailed for 23 years after he was convicted of multiple child sexual offences.

Mark Turner, aged 40, from Corbett Road, was charged with gross indecency with a girl under 16, indecent assault of a female under 14 and sexual assault of a child.

He also caused / incited a child to engage in sexual activity by penetration.

The charges relate to child sex offences against three victims – two were discovered after the initial report was made to detectives in 2018.

Det Con Fiona Millership said: “The verdict and the sentence handed down to Turner will I hope offer some solace and comfort to those he hurt.

“Tuner is a predator of children and once our investigation was under way, we uncovered more victims who, between 2001 and 2004, he also abused and sexually assaulted.

“Not only should the sentence of 23 years serve as a warning to those sexually abusing children but my hope is that it reassures other victims and survivors they can trust us to find them justice.”

She appealed to anyone who had been abused, sexually assaulted, raped or exploited to contact West Mercia Police to let the force help them.
