MORE than 1,000 homes are without electricity following a high voltage power cut in Bromsgrove.
Among the areas affected are Barnt Green, Lickey and Blackwell.
Almost 90 postcode areas in the B45 and B60 areas have been hit by the incident.
National Grid engineers are on the scene but say the power may not be restored until midday tomorrow (Friday, January 9).
The power was lost around 8.40pm and National Grid has apologised for the outage.
“Our engineers are working to get power restored as quickly as possible.”
Elsewhere, 42 properties in Wildmoor are also without electricity – that should be restored by 1.30am.
