Pop-up tap house brewing up fun in Wythall

Bromsgrove Editorial 10th Dec, 2021   0

A NANO-BREWERY is holding a pop-up tap house at Wythall Village Hall, Alcester Road, from 6pm to 11pm this evening (Friday).

Four Chaps Brewery, based on Littleshaw Lane, brews a range of craft beers including pale ales, IPAs, lagers, bitters and a mild.

The initial objective of Four Chaps was to brew craft beer as a hobby but over the course of the past year has evolved.

With a shared interest in beer and brewing, they started out with a simple 30-litre Grainfather Brewing system, bought on eBay from Frank near Burnley last February.

They now have two operating Grainfathers, plus a range of other brewing equipment to enhance the quality and quantity of the beers produced.

Chris said they were trialling the pop-up tap house after listening to customers and, if it goes well, plan to hold it monthly, potentially with quizzes and live music in the future.

Gin, wine and soft drinks will also be available and beer presentation packs from Four Chaps Brewery will also be available to buy.
