Police warning to keyless car owners after latest vehicle stolen from Rubery

Bromsgrove Editorial 31st Aug, 2021   0

THIEVES stole a car from outside a property in Rubery last night.

The thieves took the grey Ford Fiesta with a black roof, which had a registration number ending in ‘OAN’, from Leach Heath Lane around 11pm.

Witnesses or anyone with information on the theft should call police on 101.

PC Ginder from West Mercia Police has advised drivers who have a keyless car to buy a signal blocking bag for both their fobs.

Many thieves these days are scanning keys without even entering properties and using the codes to steal cars and vans.
