BROMSGROVE Police have issued a warning to drivers to make sure their vehicles are roadworthy and insured.

It came after officer seized this uninsured vehicle (pictured), taking it off the road.

West Mercia Police said: “We know most of our community do the right thing, but for those who don’t, the consequences are serious.

“Driving without insurance isn’t a harmless shortcut.

“It puts innocent road users at risk, pushes up premiums for everyone else, and leaves victims of collisions without proper protection.

“Insurance isn’t optional. It’s a legal requirement designed to keep people safe.

“If you’re getting behind the wheel, make sure you’re covered, it takes minutes to check, and it could save you a lot more than money.”

Officers thanked the Bromsgrove community for continuing to support their work in keeping the roads safe.

“If you see something that doesn’t look right, let us know.”

Call 101 to report any uninsured or suspect vehicles.
