ROGUE traders who have been targeting homeowners in Bromsgrove have prompted police to issue a warning to residents.
The offenders are approaching homeowners in Bromsgrove unannounced and offering tree cutting services.
West Mercia Police’s Bromsgrove North and Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have warned that tree cutting services should be carried out by professionally qualified tree surgeons.
PCSO, Simon Cadwallader of Bromsgrove SNT said: “If you are offered this service by someone just randomly turning up at your address.
“Best advice is not to be pressured or bullied into any work being carried out and to contact Trading Standards on 08082 231 133.”
