POLICE officers have thanked members of the public for preventing a street robbery in Bromsgrove.
It happened in Broad Street, Sidemoor, on Saturday afternoon.
The actions of people in the area at the time, led to the suspect being apprehended within minutes.
They were then arrested and taken into custody.
