POLICE from Worcestershire’s Operational Patrol Unit recovered a Range Rover stolen from Barnt Green and arrested a drug-driver a short time later during two dramatic incidents.
The 4×4 (pictured) was spotted by eagle-eyed officers in Wythall and stung the vehicle, bringing it to a standstill.
The driver abandoned the vehicle and tried to hide behind a wall but was quickly found and arrested.
Then, moments after that incident, another vehicle driving through Wythall raised officers’ suspicions and followed it on the M40.
The car was stopped with the help of a Warwickshire Operational Patrol Unit and the driver failed a roadside drug wipe test and was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving.
