POLICE have released pictures of people they want to speak to following a double stabbing at Medleys night club in Northfield.

Officers were called to the venue on Bristol Road South around 2.20am on March 9.

Two men, aged 24 and 27, were taken to hospital with stab wounds and a third man, 29, had suffered a serious head injury caused by a bottle.

All have since been discharged.

Police have been trying to establish what happened at the club in the early hours of the Saturday morning and have now released CCTV footage of people they want to speak to about the incident.

Officers are keen to identify anyone in the footage as they were in the club at the time the attack took place and could have vital information about what happened.

PC Hayley Sherry, from West Midlands Police CID, said: “This is a shocking incident where weapons were used again sadly causing injuries to three people, we need to determine what happened and who was responsible.

“We are committed to tackling the rise in violence in the city and will robustly deal with those intent on causing harm within our communities.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
